Join Us Today

The Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy brings together like-minded, nationally focused organizations to work collectively and collaboratively to promote financial education among pre-kindergarten through college-aged students. Organizations join the Jump$tart Coalition as partners in the financial literacy effort; in loose terms, “partners” are the general membership of the coalition.

Partnership Dues at Work

Much of the Jump$tart Coalition operating budget comes from partnership dues, which are based on type and size of an organization. Combined, dues are used to:

  • Raise awareness about the importance of educating our nation’s youth about financial principles — before they make decisions as adult consumers.
  • Lead the discussion on financial literacy.
  • Promote and distribute the National Standards in K-12 Personal Finance Education.
  • Administer the Jump$tart Clearinghouse, which contains nearly 1,000 financial education tools that are vetted for effectiveness.
  • Train, motivate and support teachers throgh our National Educator Conference and other teacher training.
  • Support 51 state coalitions that act as grassroots financial literacy advocates through the United States and its territories.
  • Connect partners and financial literacy advocates.
