Cleveland Fed: ‘Developing an Employable You’ Application Window

Developing an Employable You is a program open to students living in the parameters of the Cleveland Fed’s 4th District (including eastern Kentucky), and it’s FREE!

This personal and professional development program coaches high school juniors and seniors to successfully transition from high school to college or a meaningful career. Through hands-on activities, collaborating with peers, and engaging with business leaders, students will learn about:

*** The FAFSA process ***

*** Personal finance skills ***

Program Information:

  • The program runs from November 3, 2021 to April 20, 2021.
  • Meetings are held twice monthly from 3:00-4:00 pm., and meets only once in December.
  • All meetings will be virtual using Microsoft Teams. Participants are encouraged to actively participate using the voice and video features throughout the sessions.
  • All students participate in joint projects which will be presented at the virtual recognition ceremony in April.

 Requirements:

  • Students must be a current high school junior or senior, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 unweighted scale, and be in good academic standing.
  • Students are required to attend at least 9 of the 11 meetings for the program to be successful.

Class size is limited to 30 participants. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by October 25, 2021 via email.
