The Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition is holding a video contest for Kentucky Saves Week 2021. (Please note, this replaces the poster contest Kentucky Jump$tart has held in recent years.) Students in grades 5-12 can submit a short video (three minutes or less) on one of the following themes: Financial Responsibility, Saving for College, Money Management, Planning for Your Future and Using Money Wisely. Please see the flyer below for more details and a link to the submission form. The deadline for entries is Jan. 20, 2021.
First-place winners from each grade band (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) will win a $50 prize, sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. All winners and runners up will be recognized during the Kentucky Saves Week Celebration event, which is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 am on February 26, 2021 in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort, KY. (The ceremony may be held virtually, if necessary to ensure safety due to COVID-19.)
