The Kentucky Saves Week Video Contest is back! Kentucky students in grades 5-12 can submit a short video (three minutes or less) on one of the following themes:
- Financial Responsibility
- Money Management
- Planning for Your Future
- Saving for College
- Saving for an Emergency Fund
- Using Money Wisely
- Personal Finance
First-place winners from each grade band (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) will win a $50 prize. Second-place winners will receive $25.
All winners and runners up will be recognized during the Kentucky Saves Week Celebration event, which is presently being scheduled to take place in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort, KY. (The ceremony may be held virtually, if necessary to ensure safety due to COVID-19.) Video entries and winners may also be shared through social media channels of Kentucky Jump$tart and our member organizations.
Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition sponsors this video contest as part of our Kentucky Saves Week activities. Kentucky Saves is part of the nationwide America Saves effort focused on making household saving a priority.
